Successful delivery of Oracle-based spatial loading tool for global automotive solutions provider R.L.Polk (Australia). This solution was to improve the ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) process for an existing GIS based application. The delivered product took the raw data files and processed them to provide pre-configured, correct, data for use in the application. Load times were reduced from greater than 50 hours with the legacy systems down to under 2 hours with the new solution. The solution is based on Oracle 10g and features a web-based console allowing administrators to schedule, load and cancel jobs from any location. |
