iPostcode uses the iPhone's GPS unit to determine the device's current location and then, using either GPRS, EDGE, 3G or a WiFi connection communicates with our servers to return a list of full UK Postal Codes (e.g LS16 6TZ) that are nearby ranked by distance.  We have licensed data from the Royal Mail specifically for this purpose.

In addition tapping on a Postal Code will either display a map of the chosen postcode, a Neighbourhood profile from UpMyStreet or a custom URL of your choosing.
