Mercator GeoSystems are pleased to announce the arrival of their new application for the Apple iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4 & 4S, iPostcode.

Update 7/12/11 : iPostcode is now completely FREE!

iPostcode uses the iPhone's GPS unit to determine the device's current location and then, using either GPRS, EDGE, 3G or a WiFi connection communicates with our servers to return a list of full UK Postal Codes (e.g LS16 6TZ) that are nearby ranked by distance

In addition tapping on a Postal Code will either display a map of the chosen postcode, a Neighbourhood profile from UpMyStreet or a custom URL of your choosing.
